Tempe Creek Vineyard & Farm is a local wine vineyard on the edge of town. It gives off that loving country feeling without having to really travel from paved roads. The vineyard is set on a farm with a landscape that can make anyone smile. They are hosting “Live Music in the Vines” for Father’s Day so be sure to come out and have a good time on Saturday June 19th from 4pm to 7pm. It is sure to be a great experience to share with family and friends.
There will be live music, food and fun. The wine, fun, and food begins at 12pm but the music doesn’t start until 4pm. The event is free, so come on out to sip some wine. They’ve got every shade of wine and even special summer flavors getting ready to premiere. The musician is known as Marshall. They sing country tunes and have original tunes to share with those lucky enough to attend.
Feel free to bring specific drinks or snacks for the kids, but they have some appetizers, water, and some homemade candy available for purchase as well. Absolutely no outside alcohol is allowed at Tempe though. They have a variety of animals on the premises. Some, like the birds and dogs, may come closer than others. The longhorns, cows, and donkeys are behind a fence. That will not keep them from asking for treats though. Use the provided animal food only while enjoying this fun addition to the day.
Tempe Creek Vineyard & Farms has some indoor and outdoor seating. They also have covered and uncovered seating. This is an outdoor event though. The real goal for most people when it comes to finding a place to relax at Tempe is a good view and to get as close to the massive longhorn on the farm as possible. Make sure to grab a picture with Voldemort or one of the other four legged occupants of the farm.
Livingston Specialty Merchant’s Guild invites one and all to #livlocal at this celebration hosted by member Tempe Creek Vineyard & Farm. Feel free to hit the town to shop, dine, stay, or play before or after enjoying “Music in the Vines”.
