Help Us Find Sam The Fish

     This is a BRAND NEW event that Livingston Specialty Merchant’s Guild is proud to host alongside Livingston Main Street. Help find Sam the Fish! Sam the Fish is the longtime mascot of “Visit Livingston Texas”. He is regularly spotted all over town, but now it is time to look a little harder for Sam. There are hidden Sam the Fish stamps waiting to be found around town at some of Sam’s favorite spots.

     This will be a fun event that lasts all summer long and will give out over $1500 in prizes to multiple winners. The prizes that will be awarded are almost as cool as the actual adventures that are waiting. The prizes vary from free food/wine to $700 in Guild Gold (Guild Gold is as good as cash at our participating members listed below). It can be spent a little bit everywhere or alot in one place. Maybe Sam will be at the vineyard or the ice cream parlor. Perhaps on Main Street or at a coffee shop. There is no way to know without having a good time.

     Stop in to participating businesses to have some fun, grab a passport, and get it stamped. There is no purchase needed to win, but the Guild knows there will be something for everyone to fall in love with when visiting these favorite local spots. This is the perfect flexibly scheduled and interactive event for the whole family. Ask any shop on the list below for a passport to participate. Make sure to get the passport stamped by the business. Find the five hidden Sam the Fish stamps and be entered to win additional prizes.

     This is a low key and high excitement way to visit the best places, win some prizes, and make some memories. The Livingston Specialty Merchants’ Guild invites locals and visitors alike to enjoy this scavenger hunt type of event and see some one of a kind places to #livlocal. Come on out and help find Sam the Fish! & Do not forget to get that passport stamped while at participating businesses.

1. Visit participating shops NOW - August 14 and get your passport stamped.

  • Gather ALL 27 participants’ STAMPS: entry for the GRAND PRIZE ($800+ value)

  • Minimum 12 participants’ STAMPS: entry for the 2nd PLACE PRIZE ($375 value)

  • Minimum 8 participants’ STAMPS: entry for the 3rd PLACE PRIZE ($225 value)

  • Minimum 5 participants’ SAM STAMPS: entry for the BONUS PRIZE ($125 value)

2. Livingston Specialty Merchants’ Guild members and Main Street participants are not eligible to win. 

3. You must be 18 years or older to win.

4. Limit one prize per contestant.

5. Only one entry per person.
