Organization Committee Responsibilities: Fundraising, Communications/Public Relations, Volunteer Development, Building a Mainstreet framework that is well represented by business property owners, bankers, citizens, historic preservationists, entrepreneurs, and civic groups. Build and maintain a long-term effort. Creates a strong foundation for sustainable revitalization, including cultivating partnerships, community involvement, and resources for the Main Street district.

Promotions Committee:
Promotions Committee Responsibilities: Creates excitement and vibrancy downtown, Special Events. Provides education on what is downtown. Encourages customer traffic by marketing an enticing image to shoppers, investors, and visitors. Promote downtown as the center of commerce, culture, and community life for residents and visitors alike. Be able to understand the changing market both potential customers and competition. Identify downtown assets including people, buildings, heritage, and institutions. Define Main Street’s market niche and its unique position in the marketplace. Creating new campaigns, retail promotions and special events to lure people downtown.

Design Committee Responsibilities: Improving the physical image of downtown as a quality place to shop, work,, invest in, and live. Design education of Main Street members and potential members. Building improvements of buildings located in Historic Downtown Main Street District of Livingston. Enforcement of the rules, regulations, and guidelines set up for Main Street members on local, state, and national levels.
