Yellow Cottage Farm hosts Summer Classes on Plants & More

This summer heat just got even more bearable thanks to Yellow Cottage Farm. They will be having a teacher on site hosting multiple classes on everything someone with or without a “green thumb” could want to know. There will be topics like Gardening Hacks, Seeds, Cuttings, Layering, and even classes for those interested in insect collecting. These classes are suitable for all ages and are only $8 per person. The best part is everyone will get to take a plant home with them after the class.

This will be a very educational and hands-on class where attendees will get to see first hand how to tend to the different plants and learn how to keep them happy and thriving. The teacher, Zac Stayton, is a local business owner of Sweet Wing Gardens who farms, gardens, and also produces local honey. He is experienced and excited to share his knowledge of plants. Sweet Wing Gardens is a regular at the Yellow Cottage Farm Saturday Farmer’s Market.

Yellow Cottage Farm will host these classes on certain fridays, but their Saturday Farmer’s Market happens every week from 10am-2pm rain or shine. Make sure to go check them out and grab some breakfast, lunch, or even brunch while on this adventure. They proudly serve Ruby Cattle Company Grass Fed Angus Beef Burgers that every burger lover needs to try.

Livingston Specialty Merchant’s Guild is pleased to invite visitors and locals alike to #livlocal and make some memories at these classes.
