Local Events and News
The Livingston Specialty Merchant’s Guild loves taking every chance possible to keep the community that they serve well taken care of and especially entertained. This means making sure we supply our site with as much information as we can on local events. Not only do we share events that we and our members sponsor/host, but we also share with locals and visitors alike additional events that might be of interest. Feel free to submit an event to the calendar.
There are many different types of local events going on all year. Livingston loves to have family friendly events that keep us coming together like the famous. In small towns like this everything can turn into some kind of a reunion. It’s always a special sight to see all kinds of people coming together for some random fun but having it turn into extra special memories with loved ones. There are also many events just for kids with the entertainment geared towards a younger crowd. Plus some events set up with a more adult environment when it is time for a night out on the town. Livingston Specialty Merchant’s Guild invites one and all to see how we #livlocal at these events.

This rustic venue is excited to bring “Live, Local, Music” to downtown. Across The Tracks is located in the Historical Livingston Main Street District. They are a music venue that hosts a variety of talent performing music in many different genres.
Across The Tracks is a family friendly performance space. This is a non- smoking facility, but they do have a BYOB/Wine policy on show nights. Grab some friends and make a night of it with dinner at a local favorite. Keep an eye out on the calendar and the Across The Tracks facebook page for inside peeks at upcoming shows.
Yellow Cottage Farm will be having a teacher on site hosting multiple classes on everything someone with or without a “green thumb” could want to know. These classes are suitable for all ages and are only $8 per person. The best part is everyone will get to take a plant home with them after the class.
Livingston Specialty Merchant’s Guild is pleased to invite visitors and locals alike to #livlocal and make some memories at these classes.
Every year Livingston Main Street hosts a fun and family friendly event in Anniversary Park just off Main Street. This year’s Farmer’s Market will run every Saturday morning, that the weather permits, from May 29th through August 7th.
The Livingston Specialty Merchants’ Guild and Livingston Main Street are proud to invite locals and visitors out to see how we #LivLocal at this event for all ages.
Matthews Street Park’s City Pool has a deep end for swimmers to take advantage of with the diving board and slides. It also has some covered seating, a snack bar, and a separate baby pool. Just outside the pool are tennis courts and play equipment to make for a whole day of fun. Just across the street there is a walking track, covered picnic tables, and volleyball nets. The park has made upgrades and wheelchair accessible additions so even more people can enjoy themselves.
