The Saturday morning Farmers Markets are a local favorite. This family friendly event is from 10am-2pm every week and is suitable for all ages. It has a little bit of everything for everyone.
There are a variety of booths that come to set up for the Saturday Market with all kinds of vendors from leather goods to homemade soaps. There is normally local honey and gourmet handmade snacks as well. There is normally even live music to listen to while enjoying some shopping, sweet treats, and a yummy lunch. Yellow Cottage is set in the countryside just outside of town. It has gardens and free range chickens around in every direction. They even host events like weddings since they’re the perfect country setting without having to ever hit a dirt road. Yellow Cottage Farm is open Wednesday through Sunday from 10am to 5pm so don’t feel limited to Saturdays for a visit. The Farmer’s Market is only from 10am-2pm, but there is plenty of time to shop and eat. Make sure to go check them out and grab some breakfast, lunch, or even brunch while on this adventure.
